This week we are remembering the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. All details of the Cpouncil run events are here: https://www.whitehilltowncouncil.gov.uk/dday80
As Town Crier I shall be making the Official Proclamation at the flagpole outside Forest Community Center on the 6th June at 8am and beacon lighting at Whitehill Village Hall at 9.15pm
Do try to get along to the various events, displays and happenings over the next few days.
Please see the D Day poster attached which has the QR Code for the nominated charity.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
